The Octavia Scout 4x4 103TDI is the car for today's active lifestyle. The robust body of the Scout is integral to both the appearance and protection of the vehicle. New bumpers, including integrated front fog lights, moulded wheelarch extensions and side protection strips, reveal Scout's pedigree both on and off the road. The leather trim also features on the four-spoke steering wheel and gearstick, which is decorated with an original 4x4 emblem. The 103TDI diesel engine comes with a power output of 103KW and, more importantly, 320Nm from 1750rpm, as well as a DPF (diesel particle filter) to help provide a responsive, dynamic drive for the Scout 4x4. What does ESP, ABS, etc. mean? Primarily they give you certainty and control of the car when driving on a slippery surface and in critical situations. The electronic systems ABS, MBA braking assistant, EBD and ASR anti-slip are standard, and all go to make up ESP, or Electronic Stabilisation Program, which provides exceptional integrated control.
